O. Reginald (“Reggie”) Osenton is the Owner and President of Osenton Law Offices, P.A.. He has practiced law for more than 20 years in a wide array of legal areas.
O. Reginald (“Reggie”) Osenton is the Owner and President of Osenton Law Offices, P.A.. Reggie graduated from West Virginia University in 1986 with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting, and in 1989 with his Juris Doctor degree from George Washington University. After graduating from law school, Reggie served as a senior tax consultant in the Washington, D.C., and Charleston, West Virginia, offices of Ernst & Young, the “Big Five” accounting firm. He then served as an assistant prosecuting attorney for Logan County, West Virginia, and then as the managing partner of Osenton & Adkins, LLP. After relocating to Florida, he served as a member of the Tampa firm Wetherington, Hamilton, Harrison & Fair, P.A., then as the head of the Business Department of Pilka & Associates, P.A., of Brandon, before establishing Osenton Law Offices, P.A..
Reggie is admitted to practice law in Florida, Virginia, West Virginia, and the District of Columbia.
Reggie served as town attorney for Man, West Virginia, and then as mayor of Mitchell Heights, West Virginia. He is a past chairman of the Young Lawyers’ Section of the West Virginia State Bar, and was a member of the State Bar’s Board of Governors. He is a past president and past secretary of the Logan Rotary Club, and he is a Paul Harris Fellow. Reggie is a graduate of the Class of 2000 of Leadership West Virginia, where he was elected Senate President.
Reggie is a past president of the Brandon ‘86 Rotary Club, and is currently Assistant Governor of Rotary District 6890. As an Eagle Scout, he is the Charter Organization Representative for Boy Scout Troop 11 and for Troop 1986. He is a graduate of Leadership Brandon, and is a member of the Church Council of St. Andrew’s United Methodist Church.
Reggie’s hobbies include scuba diving, skiing, golfing badly, and flying (a licensed pilot). Perhaps an unusual trait for an attorney, he is an avid follower of NASCAR who attends several races annually. Reggie resides in Brandon, and has two children, his son, Ben, and his daughter, Lauren.
